Hey y'all, These pics are of a bench & chair set that my friend and neighbor Rodolfo gave me; the previous owner was going to trash them because they were in pretty bad shape, the cast iron sides and backs were rusted and mildewed and one leg was broken and the wood was dry rotted and termite eaten. The wood was painted a real sick looking green color. Rodolfo welded the leg back on.(I didn't think to take a "before" picture, darn it.)

     I cleaned up the cast iron portions of the set and painted them gloss black. I trashed the old wood and replaced it with cedar (the local cedar is called cedra pina) sanded it real good applied some termite poison (pentadrine) applied sanding sealer and finished it off with 3 coats of varnish.

The result is a new looking bench and chair set. Am I good or what? :)
