Hey Mark,
You type more than you talk..haha :-) I think you were in awe of all the
stories you were hearing. I didn't want to steal your thunder or
anything after your speech at the reunion but I wanted to thank you for
the effort of putting this reunion together especially during the busy
life you live in a small town called Staunton (pronounced Stanton, who
would of guessed?). I don't think anyone was looking for fanciness but
rather fellowship. I believe you set the foundation of future reunions.
Mark, your community service as a sheriff as well as part of the Book'em
program is commendable and it makes us proud as ex-coworkers now friends
for life to have the privilege of knowing you. Ok...I am practicing my
verbiage for upcoming fitreps and evaluation reports I have to write for
my personnel but I meant every word of it.
TO ALL: I sure felt like I was 19 again like when I first
checked into IANTN. It was great to see a lot of you guys and gals
again. Hope to see more next time. I enjoyed meeting new people as well.
Great to find an ET who shares the same nationality as I do...SOLIS...QUE
CUBA SEA LIBRE COMPADRE!!!
Looking forward to seeing all of you again, George "El Cubanito" Alves |
